If you are doing much concrete drilling, go SDS drilling machine. So much faster. I have a similar bosch combi-drill like yours. Even my 14.4v Panasonic cordless sds will beat it.
The high rpm and ineffective hammer action of the combi bosch makes it an excellent masonry bit burner. Easy enough to open up and repack some new grease.

thanks Davy. that is what i wanted to know, if i should open and repack. i do not use it much. i think it has been used less than a dozen times in almost 2 decades.

If what you’ve shown is all the grease that has leaked out, I think you are probably OK for a while, but it’s a good idea to keep an eye on this. If you run it hard again in the future it might be time to open it up and see how much grease is left.

Why don’t you go to the Bosch website and see what they manual says to use? Seems like that would be the safest way to not screw up….

Bosch specific grease will be expensive. You can get a generic drill grease a good bit cheaper. Given the low usage and the fact that this machine is now only just tolerated, don't go mad trying to fix it.
The nice new grease will go black in 20 minutes and within 20 seconds will reach the farthest flung recesses of the drill casing lol

Brian,
manual says it should be done by factory authorized center

Davy,
after reading your post. decided to just add a dab and close it.
