Found these for my K975. I do not recall paying so little. Ground shipping was $5 at Zoro:

It's 5% less at McMaster:

Mark, part in the link you posted is not padded. I have it on my KF and is fine but I thought padded is a good idea. Most padded ones I found were 2x or 3x so that is why I posted.

Hi Randy,

I am not sure if 10mm is universally the hole size on Felder machines but it is for my KF and K975. I am kicking myself for not thinking of ordering a set for Dual51. Obviously, I have not checked the hole size for Dual51.

As Mark posted McMaster is another source, in case you need to add other items to the order.

10mm seems awfully small for threads for feet to hold a 2000lb saw. But I think there's a welded nut on the inside if I'm not mistaken..? I'm considering getting Zambus casters.. Have you seen those?

Randy,

I have heard of them here. Recall people like them. The 3/8” can support over 10000# so I am not concerned. However, if you need to move the machine then casters may be the way to go. Although, I find it much much easier to move with a pallet jack than spinning the wheels on this type of caster. Here is a link from SMC with some lower cost options than Zambus.

With the new shop layout necessitated by the addition of K975, I need to put casters on my assembly bench. Anyhow, I am looking for some solution there but best would be to use the PJ. For that I would need to redo the base it sits on.

The only trouble with the Zambus style casters is they raise the machine 3" to 4" higher put the operating height at close to 40". This is OK for taller people but can be an issue for average height. I have them on my 4 x 8 hydraulic lift work table and they work great but height isn't issue with it.

I have these on a drum sander, wouldn't put them on something heavy like a saw, too hard to control the ?direction it wants to go.

Randy,

I forgot to add that the long base under the slider of my older K975 has round threaded plates that allow very small (irregular floor) amount of leveling. The other 2 ends only have holes to attach a foot or caster.

Imran,
?
Did you use any washer with the mounts?? I am thinking of putting a fender washer ()?at the bottom of the chassis, above the bottom nut, to spread out the weight on a A951L and a D963.? BTW, price increased to $6.66 now.??
?
Thanks.
