Felder Follow-up

Hello Everyone:

I know this has been said before, but I think its worth saying again. Felder after-sales support is truly great! I bought my Felder BF6-31 last year, and took delivery at the Philadelphia American Woodworker's Show in November. I had a few minor problems with the machine - mostly relating to some shipping damage - and Felder not only sent me the needed part, but also sent Mac Hampshire to install it. John Hartshorne also promised me a followup visit to make sure the machine was in A-1 working order. He (John) called me last week to let me know that he would be on the East Coast this week preparing for the Hartford Show. He arrived on Tuesday night, after an all-day flight from California and the longish drive from Hartford, and set to work immediately. He stayed over to complete installation of new contacter switches, fully tuned my saw and fence and then was off to the next customer.

Felder is a company I am proud to do business with. I am impressed not only with the quality of the machines, but even more with the thoroughness of their followup and the superb high quality of their representatives. Low pressure sales, high quality machines, and high intensity service make for a unique and enjoyable owning experience.

And now I am going back to making some sawdust.
