Bead on the outside of the cabinet door

What is the best way to achieve a bead like below around the outside perimeter of the door?

Imran,?

1.That photo suggests CNC made the exterior bead.

2.For a more traditional technique, run some molded/bead edgebanding, and affix around outside perimeter?as trim detail.

3. Or route/plane the beads in the straights as close to corners as can be found, and finish corners by hand.

Imran.
I have done solid plant on staff bead its a lot of work, and you have very little room for discrepancy, but it does look extremely nice.
Most would add the staff bead to the frame, this way its easy to do any adjustment to the door.

Kindest Regards

Thanks Jonathan. This guy subs doors and drawer fronts to me. I told him he can’t afford me to apply the bead ?

So he is going to do that and I shared with him the methods he can try.

BTW, I am not familiar with industry terms. You and another guy (on my FB group) used the term “Plant”. I assume it means applied. Is there any more to it?

Imran, the expression to plant on must be an British industry thing. I picked it up from the guy that taught me, he trained as a coffin maker, and he was taught by a wheelwright.
