Re: Felder FB610 Fence Support problems
Post some picture of this knuckle. I don't know where the four set screws you mention are located, but on my rip fence for the saw which has a similar casting, you can adjust two set screws on the

Re: Felder FB610 Fence Support problems
The milled surfaces that the fence gets fixed to is not milled square relative to the surface that rests on the flat bar. I contend that this is the critical relationship that is not being maintained

Re: Profil 45Z commission and setup
Yes. That¡¯s the latching mechanism on-ramp. It brings a sagging swing-away coupling component up to the level required for the Kipp locking levers to align and pull the feeder securely against the

Re: Profil 45Z commission and setup
One more questions about the swing away. The small plate on the bottom is oriented in the right way?

Re: Christmas in November
Yea, I have the complete PCS PDF manual, and have read it. It strikes me as a potentially temperamental system that could easily frustrate people into turning it off or ignoring it, thus defeating the

This table is in the Kappa 450 manual. It does not address the blade versus table top, but does address the max diameter versus scoring blade. -- John Hinman Boise ID Kappa 450X and A941

Re: Christmas in November
By the way, the Kappa 450 will accept a 400 mm blade but will not retract it below the table top. The PCS displays a warning if the larger blade is mounted. This fact is not clearly stated in sales

A couple more points: This sounds suspicions to me. The PP has balanced outputs, and while it¡¯s always a good idea to ensure the 3rd (manufactured) leg is not part of the circuitry used to power the

David, I ordered a Felder blade when I ordered the saw in March. I do not recall whether I bought the blade because of the PCS or if I just wanted a larger blade than I could get from Tenryu. When I

I don't know what the casting looks like that mounts to the F-channel and holds the fence, but maybe drill and tap for a jackscrew/setscrew on the low side and jack it up to obtain square with the

Did Felder give you any pre-sales indication that the PCS system would only work with Felder blades? I have seen no such indication published, nor have I heard this from other PCS users. It wouldn¡¯t

I had a similar problem with a pressure bar on a Powermatic planer in the 1980s. They sent 3 replacements and all were machined wrong. The jig they used was obviously bad. I think the Felder part is
