Re: k700s options - 3000mm crosscut w/ precision miter index for $600 extra
开云体育I ran into the same thing. ?No documentation regarding these shipping bolts that keep the trunnion locked in at around 22 degrees. ?I had to call tech support when I couldn’t get mine to move to 90. ?Then they send me all this documentation and a video link showing how to do this. ?Pretty important info to know, must have forgot to pack it with all the other paper work. Mike D.
John: When I was assembling my K700S, one of the steps was to free the saw carriage from its a restraining bolt in the carriage assembly (my apologies, as I'm making-up the terminology). The restraining bolt (which kept the carriage at a non-90 degree angle during shipping), was not documented in the manual - I called the Tech people at Felder, and they mentioned the restraining bolt. Once the bolt is removed, the carriage swings to its 90 degree position. Take Care. Mike D.

开云体育No digital flip stops, just the DRO style fence with standard flip stops. According to the specs this machine should’ve come with hand wheel controls but I’m not complaining about receiving Powerdrive.? On Feb 2, 2022, at 9:16 PM, Wade Dees <wjdsignature@...> wrote:

I have one.
You have to remove the bottom piece of the runner.? If you look at the diagram for the HS950 in the instructions, it alludes to removing it.? The hex bolts are in there with some kind of thread lock.? Some heat might help.? When you remove it, it works, but you need to insert some included set screws to keep the thing level in the t-slot. I can take the picture of the instruction page tomorrow if you need it. PK |

The gauge came with three small hex screws that must be the solution, but I can’t figure out how to use them. Anyone have any advice?? |

开云体育I had mine delivered FedEx freight, it only had to transferee once enroute. When I told the local FedEx terminal manager the size and weight they refused to put it on a lift gate. I picked mine up at the terminal. They were really helpful loading it to in my truck at the terminal.?Mark Foster? On Feb 2, 2022, at 16:42, Dan Gavrilyuk <dgwoodco@...> wrote:

开云体育I already scrapped the sub pallet but you can see it still there in the first pic. The second picture is how I have it sitting in the shop currently before I can unpackage it. SIDE NOTE: I couldn’t believe my eyes when the machine arrived with Powerdrive K2! The spec sheet doesn’t even show that I has power drive. My salesman didn’t know of this either. This was the other buyer’s machine that I accepted delivery of after paying extra for the miter index and DRO style fence.? Here’s my spec sheet. This seems to me like a factory oversight??? 开云体育Ask Felder to send you a photo of your shipment leaving their warehouse and dimensions. ?If your freight terminal is anything like the one in Portland OR, they will give you a couple extra pallets and load it onto your trailer on those extra pallets. ?Then you can offload it with short forks at your shop and you have materials to build a sauna. ?David Best - via mobile phone? That does help, thanks! I will have a trailer and a Bobcat with forks, but the forks are not long enough to pick it from one end.

Re: k700s options - 3000mm crosscut w/ precision miter index for $600 extra
开云体育Hi John, my delivery driver was able to wiggle the slider part back and forth onto the lift gate and lowered it while I had a forklift oopsie moment and needed a tug to get traction/moving off a dropped part in the driveway. The base that the machine comes on is meant to be picked up from the side, but it arrived sitting on a second pallet which could only be picked up from the end with fork extensions.? The base measures 82.5” x 50” which gives you a diagonal of 96.5”. Even if the liftgate was big enough to fit that size, It would be a pretty tight fit to turn it 90° in the trailer if the machine came on a pallet that was able to be picked up from the side. Hope that helps answer your question.? On Feb 2, 2022, at 6:42 PM, John Hinman <jhinman1911@...> wrote:
