Hi all,
?
I¡¯m in the process of installing some new Nordfab ducting. I hit a minor roadblock right out of the gate: the 8¡± QF machine adapter doesn¡¯t quite fit on the inlet of my RL200. It¡¯s close enough that I spent a fair bit of time fiddling around tapping the RL¡¯s inlet with a mallet, since it¡¯s not particularly precise in its roundness. I eventually conceded that approach as a failure.
?
I¡¯ve been searching here and elsewhere, but haven¡¯t found any accounts of or solutions to this problem. ?Since the adapter *almost* fits, I could very likely just kerf one or both sides to gain the needed clearance. ?But before I cut metal, I thought I¡¯d ask here (and an email to my vendor, who ofc had already closed for the weekend) if anyone knows of a standard or otherwise clever way to tackle this problem?
