There are files on Thingiverse to 3-D print the case for the M503 DRO and other fittings for a Hammer K3.? The files can probably be adapted for other Felder equipment. ? See the files at: ? ? Gil Nashville ?

? M503 or LP02 are not Siko?manufactured?units. ? Hi James, I doubt very much that these are Siko manufactured units based upon the price. But at the same time if they work one is free to buy it. It is just not for me. ? Imran, After watching the youtube video?, I tried to find the DRO on AliExpress, was shocked to see the price, cause I recalled people mentioned here before it was about US$400.? I was hesitant?to buy it in the first place because of the low price. I found many stores on AliExpress sell the same DRO at different prices, I also found the company in China that produces the DRO, it is legit. They do wholesale, and the price is even better.?
I found the store sells the M503 with many positive reviews, all the reviews are from foreign buyers. I am sure most buyers do not bother to post the review.
I received the new M503 with magnetic?tape, well packed. The M503 DRO also works with the magnetic tape on my Felder crosscut fence. I am not saying you should buy it, you make your own decision to use your money :) ? James, $500 price was shared here from a reputable source in USA. Here is what I saved from a FOG email pre-pandemic: MA503/2-0001 - $579.40/ea MA504/1-0001 - $326.70/ea (alternate to above has display for fractions) MS500H-0001? - 307.70/ea MB500/1-0019 - 325.20 for 3m of scale I have no idea what you received from Ali Express. If you are lucky a new unit that someone had laying around. Or it could be a salvaged unit from a machine or worst case a counterfeit, as one cannot buy a DRO of this type/class from a reputable source for that price. ? What do you mean the new costs $500 ?
What I see is C$84.31, which should be about US$62 based on the current exchange rate.
James ? Okay. The new costs ~$500. I tried Ali Express once and not doing it again.? ? It (DRO plus 1 meter magnetic band) was CAD$ 69 when I bought it in November.
The only thing I do not like is the cable is too long, I need to shorten it, not so easy to do if you do not have the right tools. I did not find the DRO with the short cable though.
Besides, you cannot turn it off like it is mentioned in the youtube video. The manual says two batteries will last a year.
? James, I did not contact them but the prices shared here were on par with Fiama F7 (about $300). I splurged for F8 for larger display digits. I also liked the design Stan Blaszczyk created. ? I do not know why FIAMA DRO is so expensive.
I watched?, bought the very affordable M503 DRO with 1 meter magnetic?band at CAD$ 69, received in 12 days. I am building the DRO F&F jig now, it also can be used as a DRO parallel guide. ? I shared a short video of this earlier. Here are the "how to" details. Imran Malik
