¿ªÔÆÌåÓýI bought a Jointmaker Pro V2 and received it a week ago. ?It¡¯s a bit fiddly to setup and the cutting capacity is not very significant, but it is extremely accurate once calibrated. ?It¡¯s also quite satisfying to not have to turn on the dust collector and saw. So far, I¡¯ve used it to create veneer packets that I then assembled into banding strips for cross banding and waterfall edging a cabinet. ?I needed to make a zero clearance top for the JMP to do so. ? Currently, I¡¯m trying Kumiko with the unit. ?I cut the grid on the table saw, but am trying to cut the interior pieces with the JMP as opposed to using guide blocks and a chisel. ?I just started last night, so am yet to see how I get on when it comes to cutting the 22.5 degree miters on a Asanoha design. There¡¯s a few things that I find frustrating about it. ?Firstly, there¡¯s virtually no guide to using the tool and very little on the web either. ?This makes it a bit of an expedition in personal discovery. There¡¯s also some things that can really screw you up. ?First is holding the piece being cut ¡ª if it isn¡¯t firmly attached to the table, it can bind on the return of the table and bend (hence ruining) the blade. ?Second, the precision fence, when set to cut 45 degrees, can interfere with the blade and also ruin it. Still, I¡¯m happy I bought it and I think it will be a useful addition to my shop. Mike
