As we get ready to step into a new week-
I want to encourage you-do not to act on
your feelings and emotions when dealing
with potentially volatile situations-without
first seeking the LORD's prospective.
We tend to be quick to act before we really
think things out.
Proverbs 20:18 tells us:
¡°Plans are established by seeking advice;
so if you wage war, obtain guidance.¡±
Psalm 32:18 tells us:
¡°I will instruct you and teach you in the
way you should go; I will counsel you with
my loving eye on you.¡±
Remember-ole devil is always trying to pull
your trigger. he loves to temp you emotionally- so that¡¯s why ><>
1 Corinthians 10:13 tells us,
¡°No temptation has overtaken you that is
not common to man. GOD is faithful, and
He will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation He will also provide the way of escape, that you may be
able to endure it.¡±
So let the ¡°conviction¡± you have through through the HOLY SPIRIT from the Word-
inform your actions-rather than allowing
your feelings to inform your actions.
Meaning: You act according to GOD¡¯s Word- rather than act according to your feelings.
Whether you¡¯re facing a difficult- a life
changing decision or you feel like tearing
into somebody out of anger ><> STOP ><>
consider and talk to the LORD about it.
When we pray for GODs guidance and for discernment through the HOLY SPIRIT-we can rest assured that GOD will provide us wisdom !
As I¡¯ve said many times - He's a lot easier
to talk to than most people nowadays and
He won't lie to you !
I felt pretty convicted to put this out this morning-so GOD knows at least one of y¡¯all
will have a use for it this week.
So - I¡¯m praying
each one of you has a good-safe-healthy-peaceful-problem free week.
I encourage you that in all you say and do-
allow others the opportunity to hear-see and feel the love of GOD through you.
You just might be the only GODly example
some will get to see all week !
