[email protected] All Messages By This Member #117 It seems to me that the responsibility to check if the eruv is operational falls on the individual baal/baalat habais. ?There is an eruv hotline which can be checked before Shabbat. ?If you are unaware whether the eruv is up , ot is your own responsibility. It becomes very difficult for the Baal Habait to take charge when the community Eruv phone number is simply not addressed on a weekly and timely basis. ?This week the message was current. ?Many times even late in the day, the message is simply not updated and cannot be relied upon. ?
