This said, WHAT exactly is wrong with your headliner?

Asking because depending on what is wrong with your oriinal headliner it MIGHT be repairable. Check with some local restoration and upholstery shops (don't limit it to those that just do Ford products), even those that repair and install convertible tops. I say this becsuse there is a local Camaro Restoration and parts shop that used to have a guy come in that would repair and/or install/replace any upholstery work. He would do any make or model and IF needed he would order in a swath or section of the correct material (grain, weight and color), cut it and sew in just a replacement segment saving the rest of the original/remaining good upholstery. IF a small tear or hole MIGHT also be repairable WITHOUT removal and depending on where it is and how bad it might not even be visible at all or unless closely looked at. IF a seam is split they might be able to re sew it and be as good as new and saving the original.
