This year’s show is dedicated to Ron Davis, a beloved supporter of the chorus and a HOSA (husband of a Sweet Adeline). Throughout the years he appeared in a number of shows, acting in a variety of skits, performing as a magician and the shows’ master of ceremonies. He is greatly missed by all.

The Fairbanks Sweet Adelines are returning to the stage with their holiday show “Welcome Christmas” to ring in December.

The show will feature holiday favorites such as “Santa Clause Is Coming To Town,” “Oh Holy Night” and “Let There Be Peace On Earth,” among other standards. This talented group of Alaska women, under the direction of Amy Dye, will perform at the Pioneer Park Civic Center at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, and 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7.

This year’s show is dedicated to Ron Davis, a beloved supporter of the chorus and a HOSA (husband of a Sweet Adeline). Throughout the years he appeared in a number of shows, acting in a variety of skits, performing as a magician and the shows’ master of ceremonies. He is greatly missed by all.

Joining in this year’s Christmas show will be the mens barbershop singers, Great Land Sounds, under the direction of Kirsten Blair, and North Pole High School Singers under the direction of Jenna Dreydopple. As in past years, the audience will be invited to join in singing favorite Christmas carols, a tradition enjoyed by all.

Tickets for “Welcome Christmas” may be purchased from any Fairbanks Sweet Adeline member, online at??or?, or at the box office.

Tickets are $20 for adults; $15 for military and students; $10 for senior citizens 65 and older, and children up to age 6. Children 5 and younger are admitted at no cost.
