slide switch part number please

the second VA5 i built mostly does not power up on batteries but powers up just fine via USB.
i have used a continuity buzzer on the slide switch and instead of a definite on-off action, the buzzer sends CW at about 28 wpm.? :-P
in other words, the switch contacts are super 'bouncy' and i think that's why the VA5 does not power up properly on batteries.

may i have the manufacturer and part number for the switch so i can purchase a replacement from a domestic (US) source?

i have identified an almost exact equivalent switch: E-Switch EG1206A??
??

nevertheless, i would like to have the original part information in case there is a better alternative.

thanks!? ?= 73 =

Just a thought here - are you sure you want the exact same part for a replacement? The originals seem to be giving problems.

OH, no problem, just buy them in a 10 pack, HE.? NOT.

information regarding the switch is listed under topic 'spare parts'...

i wrote "?i would like to have the original part information in case there is a better alternative " -- meaning:
1. i do not want to use the exact same part.
2. i do want the exact part information to use as the place for another search for a f^3 (form, fit, function) replacement.

?i see a part suggestion which does not have anchors for the switch body under topic 'spare parts'.
what i do not see is the original part information.

Slide Switch, Right Angle, SPDT, 3 pin, 5 hole, 13mm body, 2.54mm pin spacing, contacts: 30V rated (?), 30 milliohm (?), 200 mA (?),
?manufacturer? (shell embossed "Toy"), ?part number?

? - 34 (base 23) -

... there is no part number for the original switch. The manufacturer used available stock without part number. Any switch will do which fits mechanically into the PCB and into the enclosure. Any switch of that dimension will work on 3 V and 50 - 100 mA.

okay, i get it: the assembly house used "parts on hand" and did not also publish the part information on a BOM.

contact material and voltage rating figures into "durability" of a switch .. and not all switch makers care to make any durability specifications (testing costs money).

very well!? it appears to me the closest readily available equivalent is the EG1206A switch and i expect i will have to make the anchor tabs a little thinner to fit the PCB.

? = 0x49 =

i can confirm i had a faulty slide switch and the E-Switch EG1206A is a suitable replacement part (as long as one files the anchor tabs to make them slightly thinner).
