Water Incursion Mystery

I got in my 2003 weekender yesterday, which had been outside during a rainstorm, and when I put on my seatbelt the part of the belt that had been coiled up behind the pillar trim piece was wet. I'm at a bit of a loss on where water would get in that space to make the belt wet. I'd be interested in your thoughts - and any insight on how I could pull the trim and check for leaks (which probably also means pulling the rear facing seat behind the drivers seat). The only thing I can think is water getting in around the back slider window, but it all looks intact and seems like its a bit further back than where the belt is.? Thanks..ds

My first guess would be the rear assembly behind the driver. ?If I remember correctly, there is a decent path for the water to follow

Removing the rear facing seat is only 4 bolts. ?I would unbolt the drivers seat belt before removing the pillar trim

Check the door seal.
