Water in folds of pop-up

I have a peculiar problem with my 97 Eurovan. When it rains, water accumulates in the folds of the popup fabric on the driver's side (above the sink). The roof appears to come all the way down to make a good seal between the pop-up and the top of the van, and the water only accumulates in the fold itself. I don't see water until I make a sharp turn and it pours out.?

Any ideas? I want to fix this problem so I can sell the van. If anyone on the Front Range of Colorado is looking for a Eurovan, email me here.?

Actually, this is a common problem with all EVC's, but it's not water that is caught in the folds of the canvas but rather water coming around or under the black rubber 'dam' in the drainage channels that run along the sides of the metal roof and under
near the front corners where the canvas is fastened. Over time the adhesive holding the dams loosens allowing water to pass which gets
into the pop top latch area and pours out when the vehicle makes a turn.
I've recaulked mine several times.

Actually, in this case it is in the folds of the pop-up. I have felt along the metal track and that will be dry, while within one of the folds there will be water.?
