Rear heating blew ‘97 Winnie

Just getting around to a fix on my antifreeze leak. Mechanic replaced valve and antifreeze tube connection. Still major leak.
A year ago, a forceful antifreeze spray blew from heating vent behind passenger seat. So I think the ongoing leak can likely be sourced to the rear heat system.
My question is: can this rear heat system be isolated, cut out of the antifreeze loop. I would gladly forgo heat and air in rear cabin, for a doable and affordable fix.
237,000 miles on original engine and trans - but losing the Michigan rust battle.

Thank you. Gary

Yes absolutely. Simply couple the two hoses going to it either there at the heater or in the eng bay. Basically you are?bypassing the rear heater core and the eng/coolant sys is none the wiser ;-)
