Norcold Fridge 3163

Hi Folks,
I'm doing some repairs on my 1995 Eurovan Norcold 3163 Fridge. I can't locate the thermocouple, Norcold Part #617983.
?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Garry

I've worked on and replaced a few of the norcolds.? I think that the thermocouple is relatively universal and can be found on a variety of RV sites. You just want a length that is similar to the stock one.? That said, I don't think the thermocouple usually fails.? in my experience its mostly the relighter board that goes out.? These fridges seem to eat them a little too often.? you can find them online on a variety of sites for a bit over $100.? I've gotten to where I can replace one by just removing the panel above the fridge and not having to pull the whole unit.

For sure, the thermocouple difficult to source (which I believe is that the OP was asking). ?It was out-of-stock, NLA, the last time I tried to find one. ?Good news is the other commenter who noted the issue is usually the re-lighter board, is spot on - that's what kept my Green Light on after ignition.
?
You a clean up the thermocouple with some fine emery paper - just don't be too aggressive.?

Does anyone have a source for the relighter board? If I’m lucky, maybe even a link? ?
