We got a huge mailer from VW last week advertising the Eurovan, and the
MV Weekender was still on it. Call VW or hit the website Jeanne '93 MV Weekender ayne cassedy <jkcassed-@...> wrote: original article: Is it possible to get a new Eurovan MV weekender in California? Thecoming "until further notice." |

We have had a 2000 EV MV Weekender on order since 9/99. I was told in
Jan 2000 that Westphalia would not start building our vehicle until sometime in March 2000. I am calling the dealer this week for an update. Overall, we have been waiting since 4/99 as they shipped a 1999 without the pop top in 9/99 and I refused acceptance. The 2000 order was placed then. VW of America has been completely worthless in expediting this order. Maybe if you are less picky on a color than I was you may have better luck. I didn't want white, which may have been the kiss of death! Good luck... Bill Schlossman |

5/99, and were first told to wait until July or Aug. The months started creeping backward, and finally they gave us the "no Weekender in the US until further notice" message. We actually wanted a WHITE one. I'll keep your address, and I'll keep plugging away. Let's share news. We live in San Diego, California. I'm almost ready to travel anywhere to collect a Westfalia. This is so frustrating!!! Thanks for your input! Jayne Cassedy "William M. Schlossman" wrote: We have had a 2000 EV MV Weekender on order since 9/99. I was told in |
