In the Market for Eurovan bet 2000 to 2004

databuilders

Hello Everybody,

I am in the market for EV MV, if anybody knows any unit for sale
please let me know via email.

Thanks,

Carl Henderson

There's lots of places to look: autotrader.com, thesamba.com,
classifieds on vwvortex.com, etc.

You won't find a 2004 'cause there aren't any.

It would be helpful if you'd list your location, too. Folks on this
list might know of something local to you.

Good luck.
C

Won't find a '04 'cause the last year for them here was '03. If you're looking 2000 to 2004, also why not consider the '99 model? It's only slightly different from the 2000 model (most 1999s had slightly different instrumentation and switchgear with green lighting and late 1999s changed to updated instrumentation appearances with blue/red lighting and updated upholstery patterns (consistent with other VWs of the era)) but otherwise is the same as '00.

or perhaps, just as in real estate, people are over-valuing their used vehicles?
would be interesting to see some real data on sale prices but i'm not sure where to get such data.
have to settle for asking price data probably.

Identical! slightly lower mileage!

At that price the ad could be a fraud. Has anybody actually contacted the
owner?

All,

I feel obligated to let everyone know, this craigslist listing does indeed
appear to be a scam. I replied to the listing, wanting to look at the EV
and this is the response I got. Read below.

Mark,

I'm sorry for my late response but I had a buyer offering me the buy it now
price, but unfortunately his loan didn't get approved. There has been nothing
altered in the mileage represented on this vehicle. The perfect non-smoker
vehicle from a non-smoker owner. This fine auto has never had any repairs
done to the body due to collisions. The transmission in this vehicle still
shifts like it did when it was brand new. The engine has checked out okay.
There are no electrical concerns associated with this vehicle. The exterior
condition on this vehicle is extra clean. For a used auto, the interior is
not only extra clean but also smells extra clean.
If you want to buy it, e-mail me with any questions that you may have. You
can see more pictures of the car here:

My apologies for posting an apparently bogus ad to the list.
