Eurovan Winnebago conversion in the local junk yard

I did not notice any mounts like that, but then again I was not looking for them and it is sitting up high on stands.? When I make it back down I will check it out.? I am not sure if they will go look for you if you call, but you could try.? I know there was no awning or I would have been all excited about that!

I have not been down since I went down there around new years.? I am hoping to make it in the next few weekends if possible.

I mis-characterized the application of the mounts. ?It would make sense that they would have only been installed with the awning itself. ?Still, I am hoping to determine if the salvages van in the Pittsburgh area yard had has the mounts (and possibly the awning too). ?But so far the original poster hasn’t replied again with any information about the name and contact number for the yard. ?Still hopeful that he will.?

They came with the awning, and were installed by the dealer when I bought it. Big pieces of metal that are bolted into the frame at designated spots.) Made me a bit nervous at the time actually.

Do you have the contact info for the salavage yard that has the Eurovan Camper … the one in Pennsylvania (I think it was near Pittsburgh)?

I’ve been looking for the original awning mounts that came on most of the Campers, designed specifically for the Carefree of Colorado awning (NLA).? From the one photo that was posted (driver’s side) I’m not able to see if there were any mounts.

Thanks very much!

Hey Mark,
?
Would you mind scoping out a few items that I'd be interested in?
?
- Driver's side fender shell (it looks to be in good shape from the pic you posted)
- Passenger side sliding door
- Pop top's canvas tent (especially the screens) - my top is good, just the tent is showing its age
- Winnebago luggage rack/bin. A few years ago, I donated mine to the great state of Kansas, somewhere on I-70. I also donated my plastic propane tank cover somewhere on route 160 while crossing the Navajo Nation - if any of yinz stumble across these items in your travels on these roads, let me know ;-)
?
If you can, next time your scavenging, please let me know if the above are still on the vehicle and their condition. I can swing by the salvage yard and remove them myself when I stop by your place to retrieve the wheels that you've already removed for me (thank you very much).
?
I'm still planning to be back in Boalsburg, PA end of February/early March and will also be visiting my cousin in Altoona, I think a little more than an hour from you.?
?
Thanks again,
Pete

Jim 95 and all,
?
I have not made it back down to the junkyard yet to get more from the Winnebago eurovan.? It turned cold and winter here since a few days after the new year.? I just have not had the right time to get back down there and remove some more items.? I might get there this weekend, but it is a slim chance.? It is to warm up above freezing on Sat so it would be nice to get down there.? Then next week another round of bitter cold is heading this way for a few days but the 25th is to be starting a warm up I believe.
?
I just wanted to let you guys know that I am still planning on a part hunting mission.
?
Jim 95 - do you have a part number for the TCM just in case it might not be a match in the later model vans.?
The fuse panel on the left side of steering wheel was messed with pretty good, but I can look, is there where you mean for the position 22?
I think the vents were there, I can grab them if they are still there.
I am pretty sure the EGR valve is gone with the engine, but I can double check.
?
Thanks,
?
Mark??

It is a nice tool, prices can be all over the place also.

Interesting. Here’s a screenshot of a random search I just did for a 2003 Eurovan transmission w/distances listed from my zip. One thing to note is the models listed under Volkswagen are mostly alphabetical with the exception of the Eurovan which is listed further down as a sub of “Van”.

?
As they say YMMV but this is a salvage yard parts database not a new car database that’s been very handy to me over the years.

Check out car-part.com. That’s about the closest thing to a nationwide wrecking yard database available online that i know about (includes Canada yards too).

Best wishes,?

95 Eurovan? 5cly needs
I haven't had a moment to research what years the part will match a 95 EV.??
I looked high and low for these out-of-build items, other than a Transmission Control Module rebuild, they are still not found.
The power steering transmission control module is located on the right front passenger kick panel.
Fuse block for AC S23- Fuse for fresh air blower motor and A/C compressor clutch (30 amp) located on aux relay panel, position 22
Dashboard plastic air grill on far left and right of dashboard.
EGR Valve

Take a pic of where it is. I might have it. I changed out my Winnebago doors for custom ones and changed the configuration to allow opening drawers and doors with the bed down. I have 2or 3 old doors kicking around.?

All,
I plan to go back early next week to grab some items for myself.? Let me know what to look for.? If it is there I can do my best to grab it for you and we can work out price and shipping - I'd prefer items not too large for shipping.?

Scott, car-part.com is one I look at.??

Marshall and Mike,
?
It is u pull type yard in the Pittsburgh PA area.? I plan to go back early next week to grab some items.? I'd be willing to pull items and we could work out getting them to you so long as not too large for shipping.? The engine is gone, and crudely removed, as in cut anything and everything that was between the engine and engine compartment.? Not sure what wiring you are looking for.
?
Let me know.

Cole, thank you for chiming in, you are the pioneering expert on the subject! (In my opinion).? So the top, is not a good idea!? That is a bummer but I appreciate the hard truth.? These van rarely show up in a yard around here.
?
Thanks!

We have been looking for the first plastic door for the water refill since we got our 1997 EVC <100k mi. Seems some folks think the first door (the one with the hole in it) is not needed and toss it out. Anyone know where we might find one, please let us know. Silly, unnecessary part but would not mind having one, in the name of completeness. Thanks.
