Blower fan

I have a similar problem only that mine works fine in all speeds but high -
but, every once in a while it works in high also.

I haven't checked yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if the blower motor out
of a jetta/golf/passat works.

I assume that I will have to replace the blower as well.

That would be the one for the rear blower, the one you want is behind the
glove box (somewhere), inside the blower ducting. It is removable with
Philips screwdriver. It also has a six or eight pin connector on it.
Once
you remove it, you should have something that is ceramic coated (either
green or black. I believe that you can use the same part out of a jet.

'Tis not a stupid question. You will be looking for a round thing about
1"
in diameter, about 3.5-4" long with wires coming off the side.
