95 EVC - Rear bench storage accessibility

[email protected] All Messages By This Member #163626 Hi group, I'm looking to see if anyone has figured out how to make the rear bench storage (underneath) easier to access. Ideally it would be nice to easily open this without it shifting to go into sleep mode and just access the storage with more than a 45 degree angle. Has anyone removed and modified how the rear bench opens and lays down to make it easier to access the storage box under the seat? Open to ideas and exploring this further for the EVC's! Thanks Drew

I have removed mine, cleaned it thoroughly over and under, moved it to the bed position and back and opened and closed the seat to access the storage about 2,000 times (I've owned my '95 since '98.) [email protected] All Messages By This Member #163630 Ya I fully took it out and did the whole cleaning and maintenance on it for rails and such. Will continue to use as it is unless I figure an easier way to mod without sacrificing current seat and bed functions :)

Kent Kirkley All Messages By This Member #163632 I'm late to this thread. You could remove the front cover, it just snaps off. That way access under the seat/bed is open and the tray easily accessible.
