Bentley paper vs. electronic, for a 2000 Eurovan?

It's increasingly likely that having a Bentley repair manual for my Eurovan would be useful.
The question is: which one? If I go to they show the printed Repair Manual, but it's listed as covering 1992-1999. Does that cover the 2000? This is confusing, as in most divisions, the 2000 falls within the 1997-2000 group, although there are some "early 2000" / "late 2000" differences I've seen with certain parts. If you search for the DVD version, some places are offering it for a mere $1000-2000! I found one place offering the DVD for $99 and claims to have it in stock: to run the DVD version, I'd probably just create a Windows 2000 virtual machine (VM) and put it on my MacBook air... |

I have the Bentley DVD version, runs on XP on an old laptop I have. Initially I found it very confusing and hard to navigate. I would say it's not very intuitive but I think a lot of windows based programs to be that way. It does cover Eurovans up to 2003. I wish manuals, repair or descriptive would actually show you how to take something apart rather than just saying 'remove', and then 'reverse' the procedure. I bought the CD from Bentley years ago which seems to cover all EV's up to 2002. The CD no longer works( Bentley never upgraded to anything past XP) so now they offer it on-line. You just have to have a license ( and pay them) and then you can browse the manual on-line- and printout whatever you need. I would check with Bentley to see iff they stil offer that.

I think the 2000 is left over from 1999. The 201 HP engine, larger wheels (16¡±), aluminum alloy wheels, etc. did not appear until 2001.

The 3 Volume Printed Repair manual is reported to cover the 2000 Eurovan (even though it only says to 1999 on the cover). ? Costs about $280 * For the electronic version, Bentley's DVD (which covers 1992-2003) ?is no longer supported, but back in 2021 some people said that Bentley was giving online access to the electronic documentation. ? However I can't find anything about that on Bentley's site. ?Did Bentley's online-access product disappear?? * Other people recommended??as another source (apparently this is owned by AutoZone, so presumably somewhat legit). ?$20/month, $60/year, or $130 for 3 years. ¿ªÔÆÌåÓýI bought the Bentley DVD back in 2002 when I bought our EVC. Back then it only worked on WINDOWS? XP- so when I got WIN 7 I had to use an XP emulator. That worked for awhile- but then when other Windows versions came out Bentley said they would not support them at all and they went to the on-line version which I still use. You might want to call them and ask them about it. I access it through my account ( I also have Bentley for my AUDI). Perhaps you can still buy into it.
