Yes,? ? ?Curious to see how the top is working out for you. I really like the look and would guess that once the top is elevated the inside must feel really spacious.? ? ? It would be a great option for people that have cracks or whatever problems with there tops. Heck I'd do it just cause it really cool! ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? 开云体育Kinda the ongoing problem with this discussion format. Post the pictures in a thread on the CaveVan Eurovan forum. Then people can see/discuss them and easily find the whole topic and pictures in the future. On Jun 26, 2015, at 9:16 PM, Rusty goneyakn@... [ev_update] <ev_update@...> wrote:

Dear Leroy -- The top is great! ?The additional room when it's up is pretty straightforward, but the geometry necessary to stuff the electric servo motors and scissor-thingies (don't let me leave you confused with all these technical terms) allows more space between the top of the bus and the top. ?I can store our?memory foam mattress topper folded in half (6") easily in that space in the rear with no problems of the top not closing completely and there is enough room in the front to stuff a Coleman stove and a bunch of other miscellaneous items. ?All in all, I would do it again in a moment. ?Were the prices the same for this top vs the original Winnebago top, I believe I would choose this one. ?
? You are already familiar with the photos I have in the photo section here, but here is the link anyway: ?I don't have any further photos to put up yet, but I shall when we next go camping. ? |
Brent, ? ?Thanks for the updated review! I wish I had one myself...oh well. It seems to be a much more functional top than the wedge design that the rest of us have. Not to mention how cool is raising and lowering the top with a push of a button. ? ? Any new pics when you have them would be appreciated by everyone on the group I'm sure. ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?Happy camping! ? On Sat, Jun 27, 2015 at 7:39 AM, bentstvrain@... Brent, ? ?Forgot..one question. Is it possible to add roof racks and a couple of solar panels to the roof and still have it operate/perform correctly? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?Cheers On Sat, Jun 27, 2015 at 7:51 AM, Leroy Donovan <donalddonovanis@...> wrote:

If you look at the photos in the photo section, you will see that I have rails on top. ?I have also put a solar panel up there, although it's there for transportation only. ?I set it up on a tripod when we are camping. ?The roof can lift several hundred pounds -- so I can put our canoe up there and not have to worry about taking it off every night to put the top up.
