Last night while driving home from Blockbuster my 2002 EV ESP and ABS warning lights both came on. After turning off and restarting the van, the lights stayed off. What could have caused these lights to come on like that? They came on when I was turning right at an intersection with moderately wet roads. Should I be concerned about a bigger problem?

You might be able to get some "History" codes out of the controllers
if you take it to the dealer?

The only thing that comes to mind is that they both use the wheel
speed sensors?

No, that happens to me all the time on wet roads with those big performance
tires, especially if you are going up hill and turning at the same time, the
tires slip a little...

i can't say much about the slip part, but yes, the speed sensor is
definitely a part of it. they came on for me when i had 2 different size
tires, front & back. now the 4 are the same, all is good.
Part 2.....i also had them stay on due to failure of the airbag clock
spring in the steering wheel. went to the dealer new one was a dud, next
one worked like a charm. being an EV and all this took about 11 days. so
they were nice enough to give me a rental with UNLIMITED miles. sweet
deal and there loss. i racked up a ton of miles.

The yellow light on my 02 came on briefly when the wheels started to slip on
a little snow patch. It went out when the I hit dry pavement.
