I have heard there is a bag/carrier with handles that is designed to
fit the small over-cab roof rack of the EVC 2000 Camper? Can't seem
to find this anywhere. Any information appreciated.

if you get the factory roof rack, thule rack, yak rack, etc. place this
over the driver/passenger portion of the van. now, on these 2 cross bars
you can go to any parts store, walmart, k-mart, etc and get a travel
bag. they would tighten securely to the roof rack. it's a windbreaker
kind of material, don't know if it's waterproof. if not you can go to
sears,Thule, Yakima, they have a hard one that size, fiberglass, and
lockable.

I'm considering getting one of these for extra stuff on longer trips. They can be carried off, and are waterproof.



Also, some camping stores like Adventure 16 or REI carry these.

There was a discount granted to EV_Update list members last year, and
many of us (30-40?) bought them then.
Check the EV_Update Files and Photos sections for photographs under
folders "RonsEVC" and "Lee's EVC Pics"
You can also search the EV_Update archive for the year 2001 messages with
keywords "Kirkham" or "Kirkman". You might also try "Eurobago", but you may
come up with a lot of hits on a member using that name.

Another good source for drybags is Northwest River Supplies at
I use a couple of their heavy duty straps to
hold the bag to the rack. Good and solid and no leaks at all so far.
