Have you experienced the Continental L23C 215/70R15C's?
The Goodyear G64's seem noisy to some due to their aggressive
"all-season"
tread also. Now say the infamous Agilis are "relatively quiet" ...
"smart
looking" ... and allow your EVC "corner like on rails" ?! ;) What Agilis
tire size were you able to acquire there in Canada? Thanks for the .02
worth
... happy motoring :)

I have not experienced these Conti L23C 215 tires. Are they the ConTrans
or ConTour model? I was hoping to score a 215 tire, but my tire dealer
was only able to procure the 205/65 size Agilis for me.

As for the 'cornering on rails' part, I suppose that a) it's been a
lonnng time since I bombed around in my parents' Jetta, and b) I drive a
GLS model, not an EVC. Not as heavy, and not rattling with the various
camping accoutrements my old Westfalia used to have in it year-round.

Now Marcel mentioned the Hakka 10s: Were those the LT variety? I was
checking out the Nokian website and the only tires that seem to have a
high enough load rating are the 235-width LT tires. Anyone else using
Nokians in the snow? I have thought about using them next winter, if not
for the size/rating problem. Is a 235/75 R15 tire too big?

Look for the Hakapelita 10C in size 19570R15 they come in a reinforced and 8
ply truck rating. They are listed under comerical tires

Also consider the Nokian NRW in size 205/65R15RF; described at
. I'm running these tires and
am quite happy with them for year round use. The Nokian dealer I mail
ordered from uses this tire on their vans.
