From: David Radcliff [mailto:daradcliff@...] Sent: Friday, October 22, 1999 9:04 PM To: List Eurovan Subject: Center bench I purchased my 99EVC in June with an agreement from the dealership that they would sell me a center bench as soon as they could get one in offer in writing ). Well after many calls to the dealership and plenty of broken promises I finally got the call that my seat had arrived. The salesman couldn't tell me how much it would cost and as I live 50 miles from the dealership I wanted this information before I made the 100 mile round trip. I was transferred to the parts manager who claimed that the dealer cost for the center seat was $848.00. Of course I threw a fit since the price that I was quoted at the time of the sale was $500.00. Does anyone have any information on what this seat actually cost? I was finally able to convince this dealership to sell me the seat for the $500.00 that they originally claimed I would have to pay. I plan to pick it up tomorrow. The dealership is close to an amusement park that has a Halloween special so I think I will camp there for one night to take my son to the park. Any advise on using the camper with the center seat installed? Should I fire up the refrigerator or will I not be able to access it? Thanks list people! |
Getting to the fridge with the seat in is a pain but possible. You will

have to unlock lock from the bolts and slide it back. It will go far enough back that the fridge door will clear. Alex -----Original Message-----

You won't be able to access the fridge with the center seat in place.

However, we find that disconnecting the center seat and rolling it out of the way is a very quick and easy procedure. If you need the fridge, use it -- the seat shouldn't be that big a problem. David Radcliff wrote:
