Upload of files
I am trying to upload a file that I had archived off of the old Super
11 site, the file is 4Mb in size but every time I try to upload it Yahoo says that it contains no data, it does and I have also tried zipping the file and then uploading it. I suspect that Yahoo have changed the allowable upload size (they say upto 5Mb). This is all the more stupid as the file was obtained from the old Yahoo Super 11 site! I think I might try splitting the file with Winzip as if it was being used with floppy disks, any one got any ideas ? Barrie |
Since I'm waiting for the file anyway, you could email it to me and
let me fight with it for awhile. I should be able to figure out something. My mailbox can handle the file size, even if yahoo can't. Off topic: The cabinet doors are open. The doors take a skeleton key with a 3mm pilot hole. Easy enough to mill one out of 1/4" x 1" aluminum and grind to fit. Ugly, but doors are open. --- In emcoV10lathe@..., "Barrie Lever" <lancia038@...> wrote: ideas ?

See what you can do with it, I only got about 8% compression with winzip, seems like there is no problem uploading files around the 1.5Mb size but these 4Mb babes seem to bounce back. Barr --- In emcoV10lathe@..., "davedamouth" <ddamouth@...> wrote:
