Good afternoon  It's 39° and partly sunny here in west Michigan..
The grandkids were here again this morning, trying to get their vehicle in tip top shape
for their trip in 3 weeks. Looks like there is another snag and they will be back next
week Monday. I know it's rough on them financially,?but.. we are enjoying seeing them.
And, they need the vehical running to make a safe the trip to Georgia, and home again.
I hope you All have a good Monday, I hope to be online for a while tomorrow.

Devotional: Give with a Heart Full of Love!
Matthew 6:21

Today's Scripture
For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Matthew 6:21
God calls us to first love Him with all our heart, and that is reflected in what we put in the treasury of our heart. There are many things that people tend to lay up in their heart as treasure—money, time, career, family, pleasure—but Jesus cautioned that we should rather lay up treasure in heaven. That means we need to bring all our earthly treasures to God, including our families, and give them to Him to use for His glory.
This is easily seen in our attitude toward giving money. Whenever God sees us put more love into our bank accounts than we do into the King who died for us, He says there’s a problem in the heart. This is why the Bible says, “So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver” (2 Cor. 9:7 NKJV). If you cut God a million- dollar check with a begrudging attitude, the church board will be thrilled, but God won’t be because your attitude says more to God about the love of your heart than anything else. But if you have just a dollar to give and you’re delighted to give it, God loves it. It’s all about what’s in your heart!

Now may the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you and give you His peace. May the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob forgive us of our sin. May He forgive us for our ungodly lifestyle, and may we return to the God of our fathers and worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness. For there is one God and He is Jehovah God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, Creator of heaven and earth, from everlasting to everlasting. We confess Him to be God and no other. In Jesus’ name, we pray and ask it.

Good Afternoon - Feb. 27, 2025
Good afternoon everyone,
Just taking a minute to check-in.. Monday we had the Granddaughter, her husband
and the new baby here, while they waited for their vehicle to be repaired.. again.
When they had the breaks fixed the week before, the mechanic told them they needed
wheel bearings. This time they seen that they need?to have a sensor replaced, so they
will be back again on Monday. They need to have it in tip top shape, so they can go
down to Georgia next month for his Mother's 50th birthday party.. and, it's been great
visiting with them and seeing the girls. Tuesday I did laundry and Wednesday I started
my "spring cleaning". I was going to do another room today but, a friend of my brother's
contacted me last night, and wanted to know if we wanted his photos and etc.. so my
hubby went over to pick the stuff up. It will be a year on March 2nd that he passed.
So, I will probably go through that today and get back to my cleaning tomorrow.
I will be online as I?can.. hope this finds you all doing well, and that you all have a
good?day and rest of the week.?

Devotional: Peace with God - Today with Pastor Allen Jackson
Peace with God
Romans 5:1-2?(NIV?)?
Since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God.
To be justified through faith means to be acquitted, to be made righteous, as if you had never sinned. It means you can stand before Almighty God without fear or shame because you have been made clean, worthy, and deserving—not because of anything you have done, but because of what Christ has done for you and your faith in Him. When the enemy says you’re unclean, unworthy, or undeserving, remember what it means to be justified through the blood of Jesus. Remember what it means to have God on your side—forgiving you, pulling you along, and cheering for your progress. As you deepen your relationship with Him, you will find strength for today and gain confidence to face the future.
THINK ABOUT IT
This hope, this assurance, is the firm foundation upon which you can stand and the good news you have to share with the world.
PRAYER
Heavenly Father, help me identify with Jesus’ sacrifice and what His blood paid for more than I identify with my feelings or circumstances. May I continually apply His cleansing blood to every aspect of my life so I might walk in His victory and be an effective ambassador for Your Kingdom. In Jesus’ name, amen. | |

Devotional: Step Out in Faith–God Moves When You Do
James 4:2

Today's Scripture:
You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask.
James 4:2
You know that God can do more for you in a moment than you could do for yourself in ten lifetimes. But what if He is waiting on you to participate in the process? You may know exactly what you want God to accomplish in your life and believe that He has the power to do it. The problem is not that the provision isn’t made. The problem is you’re not reaching for the provision and doing what God has asked you to do.
Here’s what I mean. God will not answer prayer until you pray. God “will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it” until you are giving (Mal. 3:10). God will not “forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness” until we confess our sins (1 John 1:9). But the moment that you do, the moment you reach out to Him in faith believing, suddenly all of heaven and earth begin to move on your behalf because that’s just how much God truly wants to bless you. Take the step that God is asking you to take, and you’ll move in the faith that overcomes the world.

Blessing:
And now may the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you. And may the Lord be gracious unto you and give you His peace. May you celebrate in the joy and the peace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. May He remove the pain of the failures in your past. May He remove the criticisms in your life that have scarred you by persons of influence. May you walk with divine victory because heaven is on your side, and God has given you all things for your life to be totally blessed. Go with this blessing and live a life of victory rejoicing in Jesus Christ. And all of God’s children said, “Praise the Lord.”

Allowing God to Be God
Isaiah 55:8-9?(NIV?)
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the LORD. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
Do you allow God to be God? You may have made a profession of faith and been baptized. You might now serve others and give generously to God’s Kingdom purposes. But do you allow God to be Lord over your life? It is easy to get frustrated with God when He doesn’t do what we want, when we want, and the way we want. But Scripture says God knows what is best. He has proven time and again that His thoughts and His ways are higher and better than any human thoughts, including yours and mine. So, let’s invite Him to be God over every area of our lives. Let’s invite Him to be God over our thoughts and our emotions. Let’s invite Him to be God over our relationships, our health, and our work. Whatever we are facing, God knows the details.

Raise your hands and say, “Lord, You are welcome here. I need Your help, and I invite You into this situation."
PRAYER
Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of life. You have called me out of darkness, into the Kingdom of Your Son. Jesus, I want You to be Lord of my entire life, and I choose to live for Your glory. May the thoughts of my heart and the words of my mouth be pleasing in Your sight. Open my eyes to see and my heart to understand how to honor and glorify You. In Your name, amen. | |

Devotional: Love–The True Currency of God's Kingdom

Today's Scripture
And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heartwith all your soulwith all your mindand with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment.

When we hear the word “currency” we immediately think “money.” But did you ever wonder what the currency of the kingdom of God is? What does God find valuable in our lives as a heavenly currency? For a heavenly kingdomyou must trade in heavenly currencywhich Jesus defines in these words: “you shall love the Lord your God.” That is what God values as the kingdom currency.
The apostle Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 13 that our intellect is not kingdom currency. He says that even if he knew everything there was to knowor if he could tell you everything that no one could figure outhe would be nothing if he didn’t have love. And if he could speak all kinds of languageshe would be nothing without love. And if he could do great things for peopleeven sacrifice himself for themhe would be nothing without love. Why? Because God only values love as His currency.
You might not think you have much to give Godbut it’s not about money. The capital that you can give to the King is love from your heartsoulmind and strength. Todayconsider what you have to invest in His kingdom and be generous in the love offering.

Good morning
It's 11°, feels like 7° but, is bright and sunny here in west Michigan. Looks like next week
we will finally be getting some 30's and maybe 40's.. yay! I am ready to be able to sit out
on the deck with our morning coffee or tea.
Sorry I wasn't on here yesterday.. Our Grandson-in-law Keith, and great-Granddaughter
Aleighya was here while they waited for their? vehicle to be repaired at the auto repair
shop next door. It was a delightful visit. Nothing like a little child to bring such joy. 
I hope this finds you all doing well today.. I'm catching up on laundry and a few other
things.. I have my treatment on Thursday afternoon so, I don't want things piled up for
me next week. Hope you all have a great Tuesday!
