Multi-Screen Bug

Hello,

I do wish the application either always started on the primary screen or on the last close screen.

It's most annoying to have it open in the middle of the desktop surface with multiple monitors, i.e. split between monitor 0 and monitor 1. It's probably ok for 1 or 3 monitors, but not 2 or 4

Hi Ian,

What operating system are you using ? (This is always useful info to put in a post along with the version of PSUD from Help|About)

Duncan

Hi Duncan,

Windows 10 Pro
Version??? 10.0.19043 Build 19043

I always check that I'm using the latest release before bitching...? and I keep two rollback versions so I can test things that crop up... as a retired programmer, it's professional courtesy...

Cheers,

OK thanks. I'm busy with PSUD3 right now and it would not be sensible to do even very minor changes to PSUD2, simply because of the significant amount of time to run through regression testing across multiple systems.

However... I have put a beta build 78 for Windows executable in the files area ->?/g/duncanampspsud/files/beta_test_files

You will need to copy to your program folder and run from there, it's not packaged, and doesn't have an installer. On startup for the first time it will take up 3/4 of the screen (not desktop) and if you resize it will save the settings on exit. When you start up again, it will restore the screen settings from the last session.

Duncan
