I have tested changing it hard in direwolf.py. It does no difference.

Does that influence the reporting in any way? My understanding is that that's just how the reporting station will appear on the map.

No IGate implementation in OpenWebRX, all reporting happens from direwolf. There is no filters in the config file.

Thanks for the suggestion. I downloaded alsa-lib source and changed line 675 to use a pointer like it should have in the first place (hence the bug report), compiled and installed it then rebooted.
