Tim, I followed your instructions and when I try to view my igate on port 8080 in a browser, it gives my a "connection closed" message. Any ideas? Thanks, Paul KK7BIZ

Re: Raspberry Pi Zero2w Direwolf not Digipeating
David, I've reviewed the user guide regarding digipeating. I see where my digipeater may not repeat packets as a stronger digipeater may win out. However, I have my HT set at low power and when it

Re: No receive packets with Direwolf for MacOS
Thanks to all. I have managed to get it working by buying a different USB sound card from Amazon. The new one identifies as 'USB Audio Device' for receive and transmit, rather than separately named

Re: Raspberry Pi Zero2w Direwolf not Digipeating
Hello Fred, How are you judging that it's not digipeating? Because you don't see the Direwolf setup transmit or because you don't see your digipeater being the relay station according to aprs.fi? If

Hello Everyone, I just built a standalone digipeater running Direwolf. The digipeater is beaconing just fine as I'm able to verify the beacons on aprs.fi. However, it is not digipeating. I have tested

Re: TH-D710 and DIREWOLF
Oh! That's different. You would have to send an Object message (not a self position beacon) that is precisely formatted to be compatible with the Kenwood's built-in TNC.

Luc, You want to configure YOUR direwolf to send the correct APRS packet so that OTHER PEOPLE with Kenwood radios can use the Tune button to QSY to your repeater, yes? To: "direwolf"

Re: TH-D710 and DIREWOLF
Hello Luc, The D710's "tune" button is on the control head so when the APRS system running on VFO-A decodes a specific APRS beacon packet and you press the "tune" button, the radio can QSY VFO-B to

YAAC's repeaterfinder plugin has the logic to parse APRS repeater objects and send the commands to tune a Kenwood radio as well. You need the Kenwood PG-5H cable to the transceiver body to send the

Re: TH-D710 and DIREWOLF
Hi Luc, The Tune function is a feature of the TM-D710 and some other radios whereby you can have the non data-band side of the radio QSY to the frequency advertised in an APRS packet, but only IF the

In theory, that is the purpose of the 4N25 optoisolator.? However, in practice, the sound card is not differential, so it really isn't isolated. As for the rest, I am not sure what you are trying to
