Re: Puzzling instability with Direwolf and GPSD
OK using the -d t option on direwolf I see: indeed the GPS is being interpreted as shifting between a 2D fix and a 3D fix. Looking at cgps, this seems to occur when gpsd identifies the fix as 3D diff

Re: Puzzling instability with Direwolf and GPSD
OK I have done further testing. This behavior results in the messages in the direwolf console: gpsd: location fix is now 2d. gpsd: location fix is now 3d. gpsd: location fix is now 2d. gpsd: location

Autostarting direwolf on Raspbian
The use of cro to autostart direwolf is a bit non standard. The apt-get install direwolf provides a version which appears to leverage the standard system daemon functionality, but this is version 1.4

Re: Windows Specify Sound Card / PTT #cm108 #windows
Best temporary workaround I have found is to use a different USB port. As long as the PTT HID path I want to use is LAST in the list in Direwolf, then it will use that for PTT.

Re: Windows Specify Sound Card / PTT #cm108 #windows
I tried using *PTT CM108 "\\?\hid#vid_0d8c&pid_000c&mi_03#8&2d901427&0&0000#{4d1e55b2-f16f-11cf-88cb-001111000030}"* Very specifically with and without quotations. Of which resulted in this error.

Windows Specify Sound Card / PTT #cm108 #windows

Re: Direwolf Decode Help
Ah... interesting and this is something I didn't think about as it hasn't been so common that people use Direwolf with multi-mode rigs. Generally speaking, it's only multi-mode radios that offer noise

Re: Direwolf Decode Help
Hello Brian, Assuming you've configured DIrewolf properly... yes. Can you share your direwolf.conf file? That all depends if it's the "right audio from the radio" and the audio levels are correct.

Is it possible to get hamlib working without using Cygwin? Direwolf can be run without it these days, but as far as I can tell, there's no support for hamlib in this sort of setup. Mabe I'm missing
