Re: symbol filtering
If you provide an explicit callsign-SSID (or more than one), we can look at their raw packets and make sure we're advising you on the correct symbol filter to select those stations. Lynn (D) - KJ4ERJ

symbol filtering
does anyone have experience with symbol filtering? I want to remove digital hotspots from my server feed. They all seem to have this black diamond with a D in the middle (attached). [image: image.png]

Re: Direwolf upgrade for Windows?
Looks like it's ignoring a packet sent too fast.

Re: Direwolf upgrade for Windows?
Running -l . Log only has wide info if it's part of a comment or if in a beacon. Didn't see any other logging options. I'll try to do a screen grab. Jerry

Re: Setting Deviation with Bessel Curve direwolf -x
Dear Thomas, Thanks for such a detailed and useful reply - I didn't realise I could set the tone values in the direwolf.conf file. I followed the the Xastir Wiki and ran the "devcal" application on

Re: callsign exclusions
Use an exclamation point to invert the action of a filter item.Example: !b/CALL1/CALL2/CALL3 etc. will block matching callsigns. Wildcards can be used in the callsigns.? Patrick (N3TSZ)

Re: Direwolf upgrade for Windows?
Hello Jerry, If you could show us some specific direwolf log lines, that would help us understand what might be happening here. --David KI6ZHD

Re: Direwolf upgrade for Windows?
I did see on a rare occasion when it digipeated a WIDE 2-1 with WIDE2-1. There was no WIDE2-2 in the string. It correctly digipeats a WIDE2-2 to a WIDE 2-1.

sorry, I was kinda distracted at the time I also sent that. I was thanking you for your effort in compiling this. I do not possess the knowledge to make the SW upgrade and update myself. Many years

Re: Direwolf upgrade for Windows?
Hi Chris, I'm not sure what you mean here.? You don't have to build it since I built 1.7G for Windows if you want to download and try it - it's ready to run.? Just drag & drop the Direwolf folder
Re: Direct Keying 9600 FSK?
Hello Marcus, I looked over some of the various PDFs from HopeRF on this module and while very impressive, I don't think this would be at all compatible with G3RUH 9600bps FSK modems (

Direct Keying 9600 FSK?
I couldn't see a previous answer to this one, so I thought I might ask... A few years ago I grabbed a few RFM23BP modules to experiment with, but after going through the datasheet I hit a few

Re: Buddy filters
Almost.?? b/N2GH-* will get all actual -SSID-suffixed stations of N2GH, but it won't get N2GH without a suffix. But b/N2GH* will get any callsign that even starts with N2GH, like N2GHA-5, N2GHZ, and
