Random, deep thoughts about the vagina
If Eric remembers the monologue that he did when we were in Acting 2 together he will remember this feeling. Just now I thought about my high school girlfriend's vagina. Do you remember the first time you encountered one? It's just so weird and gross and it is not at all the way you expect it you know? I has its own smells and wetnesses and rules and things like that. But after you encounter a second one or a third one on different people then you know what one is and then all those beginning weird feelings are gone and you're numb to the whole experience. Yep they're all just vaginas. Pretty much everything can be described like that... When you first encounter a challenge... so weird..so hard .. can you become numb to it We just arrived in Houston two days ago. So far I like it. I kind of feel like I'm in LA

Good food, memorable attractions, a culture different from your own, and people who generally seemed happy to be living there? Houston as a leisure tourist destination might not sound convincing to most, but after spending a handful of days there at the start of summer, I can heartily attest that it’s a place that was, quite simply, fun. And so, it’s the latest selection for our twice-a-month series on underrated destinations, It’s Still a Big World. a few random things I have learned or picked up in Texas 6
1. Human trafficking is insane here. 2. I said y'all naturally twice yesterday. 3. Six Flags is named Six Flags because there have been six 'governments' of Texas, including France. 4. Shrimp and cheese go well together 5. Houston doesn't feel like Texas at all. I feel like I'm in a hotter LA with affordable housing and many more trees

a dream I just woke up to 4
I don't normally have dreams like this, or at least don't remember them, so here goes. I was attending some kind of high-end party for music. Like the Grammys. But political and it was something like the Democratic convention, I guess. And I remember noting that with all the celebrities there, it is weird that U2 wasn't there. The show and party were ending soon, so I took the opportunity to stand on a really tall tent and look down. Just then I realized that Charles Grodin was high up in the air on a winged flying machine and I had the chance to do that too, but decided it was too dangerous. My keys fell on a lower tent roof, which was still higher than everybody else, but luckily Donald Rumsfeld, who was in charge or maintenance and cleaning, picked them up. He also helped me get down. I realized or remembered that I had seen Donald Rumsfeld earlier at the party and he had given me a NASDAQ code. He was trying to be a fatherly figure. And then at that moment he told me, basically, that he bought me a little NASDAQ machine. It was kind of like an old digital clock, but he turned it on and entered my code, which I had lost. He told me that he hoped I would get into politics. I told him that I respect him very much because, as he is retiring, he would be contributing to the Democratic party by encouraging me to get into politics. I then realized that both of us (Donald Rumsfield and I) were kind of in a shop that sold Chinese colorful plant toys that were meant to be substitutes for children. They sang and talked to you and were like cute little plant robots. He was explaining to me how a type of fish with teeth is good to catch and just then a colorful and beautiful fish, as large as a breadbox, with crazy colors and teeth, swam by. Then Caspian, my son, who was Robin, impressed all the superheroes by moving a single statue with his whole body while I couldn't.

Here's a good idea 2
What if there is something like the boy scouts.. exactly the boy scouts but for adults. You get badges, build up skills, you follow all rules, but then for a few hours every night after dinner it was sex and drugs allowed, kind of like the purge

This is how close these deaths were to our house ---------- Forwarded message --------- From: Dan Buck <vertknowmad@...> Date: Mon, Oct 25, 2021, 7:26 PM Subject: Fwd: Daily Beast To: Dan Buck <vertpurple@...> ---------- Forwarded message --------- From: <vertknowmad@...> Date: Mon, Oct 25, 2021, 5:24 PM Subject: Daily Beast To: <vertknowmad@...> Scott Halleran Three children found abandoned in a Texas apartment along with the skeletal remains of a 9-year-old boy believed to be their brother had been surviving in part thanks to a neighbor who brought them food and charged their cell phone after the home’s power was recently cut off, a spokesperson for the Harris County Sheriff’s Department confirmed to The Daily Beast. The unidentified resident of the CityParc II complex in the Houston suburbs had been helping the kids, ages 7, 10, and 15, for at least the past couple of weeks, cops said. The 15-year-old boy said his parents left him and the others alone in the home several months ago and hadn’t lived there since, said police. The children had been living for a year or more with their brother’s dead body, which was lying out in the open when officers arrived. Deputies said the two younger boys “appeared malnourished and showed signs of physical injury,” according to an announcement issued by law enforcement authorities. Some interesting things about living in Texas, Part 2
Hi everybody, Here's what we have for today. 1. Margarita-Sangria Combo. We went to a Mexican restaurant a few weeks ago and they had a margarita-sangria combo. It was delicious. And I thought it was just from that particular restaurant, but apparently it's.a Texas thing. You should try it. 2. Little Kids Sit in the Front. It's legal and cool. And side note, I've seen three parents driving in the carpool lane with their child's door wide open when the kids were either sitting in the back or on their way out of the car. 3. Mix and Match Vaccines? Old School. For sure I've been following all the news from the CDC and the federal government about vaccines. Maybe one week after it was approved to 'mix and match' I found out that it was already available here...a month earlier. So I just went into CVS and got one

I love this
This is what the QAnon Shaman said at his trial "When Mr. Chansley addressed the court, he quoted Jesus, Gandhi and Justice Clarence Thomas. He went on to discuss his tattoos, his late grandfather’s role in his life and the prison movie “The Shawshank Redemption.”" "He also apologized for his role in attacking the Capitol, saying that in the days since, he has often looked into the mirror and told himself, “You really messed up, royally.”"

Interesting tidbits I learned from an active shooter training 3
Plus one thing at the bottom I forgot about Texas 1. Statistically speaking a shooter in a k through 12 setting will probably be white. 2. A shooter at a college or university will probably not be white and will be suicidal. 3. The days before Columbine The strategy was to set up a perimeter inside or outside the shooting site. After Columbine the regular law enforcement routine was to suit up one police officer in double bulletproof vests and then wait for a second partner to arrive. After Sandy Hook this stopped because now we know that a shooter has about 6 minutes before someone will stop him So now the routine is for the first person there to suit up and run in and find the shooter and kill him and do nothing about anybody who is hurt or bleeding or anything. There was a shooting a few weeks ago at a shopping mall or something and this is what a police officer did... He was trained to run in with his pistol and just find the shooter. But he died. 4. When police officers stop you for a traffic violation they routinely touch your car and specific place just in case something goes down and their fingerprint will be on your car 5. The Houston Police department is the only police department in the US that has a separate mental health division for its officers. 6. If you are being attacked and have no weapon nearby. Try to find a fire extinguisher and shoot it into the assailants eyes and then hit them on the head with it. Or grab a pen and go right for the guy's eyes. As for Texas, I forgot to say that Houston is the only city I know of where in the city itself they have a great camping site for kids... And they also have farms of cows. It's weird

Mormons and Down Syndrome 2
We went to a comedy show last night in Houston. There's a comedian named Steve Cantwell. He was apparently a Mormon for 40 years or so. He told this outrageous story that I think will be crystallized in my mind forever about how his father was killed when a boy with Down syndrome took a potato chip truck and ran over him. I was so absorbed.. you watch the story and you don't know if it is real but I think it had to be real. Otherwise he is basically saying that people down syndrome aren't humans Anyway he said that in the Mormon faith they have so many people who have down syndrome and that Joseph Smith even declared them (or I guess the equivalent) as being like special people or something like holy people. Does anyone know if that's true? I don't see it on Google. He was a very talented storyteller. It reminded me of Louis CK or something. Like so intelligent and well spoken and the craft was so honed but what he was saying was so outrageously..wrong. This is a clip of the guy but I haven't seen the clip https://youtu.be/nysJyMADOw0
