AC-3 43-924713 manual or schematic needed 3
Good morning, I am working on a repeater for a small group of hams. I am hung up because I don't have the manual for the 48 pin AC-3 audio card. I am having trouble with both TXA and TXB are getting keyed with RXA decode. The shelf is configured with TXA/RXA as the repeater pair, and TXB/RXB is for the APRS Digi. Al I have is the AC-3E 96 pin audio card info. TNX Jim

6m Conversion advice 11
I'm not exactly certain anyone has actually done any conversions on these units to 6 meters. If they have, I haven't seen any documentation on it. I've got several lowband units myself. Chris/KF6AJM

ISO main TX board manual for VT3 4
Hello all, I have looked through the files section and the manual I need to locate isnt there. I am looking for the transmitter Main board manual for the V series. This module differes to greatly from the MT3, particurlarly there are no solder jumpers for time out, and my standard input B14 is still timing out at the factory set 5 minues so I cant put this into service until that is corrected somehow. B14 should bypass the tot module, but on this unit its not. Thanks in advance

Spreadsheet for MT-3 VT and VR Jumpers 4
Attached are a couple of spreadsheets that I have found convenient to use when configuring VT and VR modules. If they don't make it thru the filters, I will try sending them again as PDFs. Feel free to alter and improve. in the SSs I have included the jumper's coordinates in mm on an X-Y grid based on the circuit board edge held normal. Rick Briggs, KL7BR Boise, ID

[Launch Alert] Launch Delayed to Saturday
We¡¯ll have to see whether this one goes or is visible given the weather. Listening to spaceflightnow.com last evening confirmed that once fueling starts, the Falcon 9 is committed to a specific launch time. The launch must either go or be aborted. They can¡¯t wait for an hour or so later, unlike other rockets. Sometimes, finding out what specific time within a given launch window they have elected is hard. Spaceflight now.com seems to be the best source since spacex.com starts its streaming only about 5 minutes before launch time. Begin forwarded message: From: Launch Alert via Launch-Alert <launch-alert@...> Date: January 20, 2024 at 5:10:44 AM PST To: launch-alert@... Subject: [Launch Alert] Launch Delayed to Saturday Reply-To: launch-alert@... ? Last night's planned launch of a Falcon 9 rocket was aborted at T-59 seconds due to an unspecified reason. Liftoff is now tentatively scheduled for tonight (January 20) from approximately 6:00 to 10:23 p.m. PST. Although launch viewing may be hampered by cloudcover, observers in outlying areas may hear a distant rumble from the rocket several minutes after launch. controller interfacing 7
howdy again I have gotten 3 of the machines programmed up and working great as stand alone repeaters, I want to interface 2 of them to a Link Communications RLC4 controller. I read the RC210 interfacing in the files section, however the RLC4 "sees" anything below 3 volts as an active low on the cor circuit. measuring the RXa pin 8 I am seeing .5 to .6 volts idling with no signal to .0003 volts with signal, am I missing a jumper that needs to be put in or removed so that I see above 3 volts when the receiver is idleing with no signal the drops to ground with signal or is there a place on the backplane that I can pick up an active high cor (above 3 volts) with signal? Thanks

MT-2 Conversion to 2 Meters 4
It has been a while since I have worked with the MT-2 modules. Have to move a VHF transmitter and receiver form the 170 MHz range down to 144.39 for APRS. Does anybody remember what parts need to be changed. I am hoping the receiver front end will tune down that low. Thanks, Joe - WA7JAW

Blank Fill-in Panels 3
Does anyone here have 1/2, full or 2x blank covers with screws for sale? I could use a couple of 1/2 size and at least 4 full size covers for a couple of mainframes, mostly for neatness sake. Rick Briggs Boise, ID

more modules 2
howdy yet again Going through the totes that were given to us, I found another cage with these modules UT-3/420-SWC800 UR-3/420-SWC200 I assume these are 420 modules that require the plug in programmer, which we have, now to figure out how it works, I assume it has to be plugged in to a particular port in the cage. I know the frequency codes are in the manual. now to find another UHF amplifier Thanks again for any help Steve

Daniels controller 5
Our group was gifted this equipment (see attached pic), all MT-4 modules in UHF, along with the combiner and controllers, need help in identifying the controller with the RJ45 ports I assume it may be pc programmable, and be able to have ID's for each port. with the help of this group, I now know how to put these in ham frequencies. I would like to use some of these in a combo site ham/gmrs thanks Steve KC7YNS

UHF ham conversion 18
I have acquired a bunch of Daniels gear, manuals and 2 programmers, 2 VHF machine converted to ham use and working nicely, and 2 UHF machines, I noticed in the manuals in the VHF they give you the programming codes for ham frequencies, in the UHF they omit 430 to 450 Mhz. I assume there is a formula to figure programming codes for ham use with 12.5 or 5mhz spacing. these are the modules I have TX... UT-4E450-00-800 RX...UR-4E460-00-000 Amp... 2/450-30-00 Thanks for any info and help Steve

SeaPac
If anyone is going to SeaPac next weekend stop by and say hello at the ICS Controllers booth. In Puyallup at the Mike and Key hamfest back in March all 3 of the Danielselectronics forum admins were there. Might just be the case in Seaside next weekend as well. Joe - WA7JAW

Looking for Subrack Blank Covers
I am looking to buy some blank aluminum covers to fill up the holes in a MT-3 subrack I'm going to install on a mountaintop. I need a 1/2 (AC) and a pair of VT/VR size (or one amp size). I would be happy to send a Postal money order. Not something I have to have, but they would make things look nice and sorta keep the dust and flies out. Rick Briggs, KL7BR Boise, ID

MT-3 Tx not passing audio 6
I am struggling to get an MT-3 VHF Tx to pass audio. I have two Tx , both have OSR-3/162 synth modules. Freq selected at 166.47 mhz. The synth module seems to be the common denominator. Whichever Tx I put the synth module that passes audio , the audio passes. If I put in the synth module that doesn't pass audio, that Tx doesn't pass audio. So... both Tx will pass audio , IF they have good synth ( the one that passes audio) The synths are slightly different. The good one is 43-911921 and the one that doesn't is 43-911920. Both Tx put out 10 watts bang on frequency. Yes, JU-3 is jumpered. Can't for the life of me figure this one out. Thanks Mike VE7SML
