Numbers sure look interesting.
First test here might be, image a new RPI OS onto this and some other cards, see how long that takes, take it from there.
Of course MickeyCenter comes up out of stock...

And now for something entirely different. It's been an eternity since the last one (i.e. a whole month!!!), so it's time for the Forth-2020 Cafe.
I intend to show a tweak to speed up character I/O for the Novix simulator, together with updated firmware. Kinda like what the RTX-simulator does.
Any progress in any of the many projects out there? Presentations ain't a formal thing around here, just attend, show and tell.

you might wanna check Microcenter.com as most are $10 off their regular prices.
Note that Microcenter doesn't seem to have the 16GB Model 5 listed but Pishop.us (Delaware) and SparkFun (Colorado) had them in stock the last time I checked.

Think of how much faster your RPi would run with the entire operating system stored in a RAM disk?? ?True, it would have but maybe 8-GB to run stuff but if you do a lot of file I/O it'll be pretty swift!? Compiles would go a lot faster!
