Hi

I have a couple of questions regarding my milestone. I have recently installed the up-date to the milestone 312 wifi. Everything works fine apart from the on-line book library, it says no active database, is there a file missing? Are any of our uk libraries on there yet, calibre etc?

For those who are interested they are now on version 6.5 and a few things have been moved, the on-line library is with the books under books, and there are a few other minor changes.

I don't have a Milestone but as far as I am aware none of the Libraries in the UK provide online access yet through specialist players except for possibly RNIB Bookshare. I have a subscription to International Bookshare which I can certainly access through my Trek which works well.

Paul Porter from RNIB talked in the Sight and Sound SensePlayer webinar about "working" with Hims to provide Daisy Online support for RNIB Reading in that player.
However, I would have thought that once the RNIB genuinely adopted the Daisy online protocol this would fairly automatically extend Daisy Online support to all the specialist players that support this protocol. it should be possible to include on all players which support Daisy Online, that is Victor Reader devices, Evo devices and I presume Milestone if it also supports Daisy and other Online library features.
