help setting up my new Victor Stream

开云体育

Hi all,

?

Please could someone advise on how I set up my new Stream and trek, as I bought them Monday but it’s a while since I have done the set up and I’ve forgotten how to do it.

?

Thanks

?

Paul.

I think there is little really to setup.

The main thing is setting up Wi-Fi on your devices.

The menu system is slightly different on The Trek and Stream 3. However on both devices you press the centre top round button to set up online mode and press the ??7 key to go through settings to find Wi-Fi settings.

On the Trek you keep on pressing the 7 key to navigate but on the Stream 3 you use more of the 4 and 6 keys to navigate menu settings.

Once you reach Wi-Fi you can then find your ISP and enter your password using normal T9 entry method. Use the top right favourite key to cycle through lower case, capitals and numbers and so on.

Pressing ?left arrow will delete any mistaken entry.

?

Simply Putting your SD card in will create the familiar folder structure of $VRDTB $Music? ?and so on. You can add media files to the SD card using a Card reader on your PC or Mac.

?

You can set up Audible support on your Trek but not currently on a Stream 3.

It is years since I did this ?so somebody else should advise on how to activate your Trek to play Audible content.

?

BBC streams are available on the Stream 3 but not the Trek

Bookshare can be accessed straightforwardly on both Trek and Stream 3 by adding login credentials in settings.

The only other thing to remember is that certainly in the past finding the GPS satellite ?on the Trek could take hours on first use. Leave it somewhere where there is a good GPS signal – perhaps a window sill where nobody is going to break a windows to grab your device!

Hi Paul

?

The only thing I will add to this, on each section you come to, for each change you need to press the confirm key, key 7, general settings, wifi, confirm, and then it’ll finds your ssid and confirm again, it took a few minutes to suss out but once you have it, it is easy. If you get stuck you can call me if you want. Email me off list adriencollins820@... Good luck

?

Regards

Adrien
