Getting rid of Graham on VR Stream 3

Had the VR3 for a day or so now.? I am bugged by the menu voice being Graham.? Tried to change it but Graham is still stubbornly there.? He sound bit like he's missing a full set of teeth.? What am I doing wrong?? Selecting the alternative voice does not give me Rachel, and I would prefer her.? Got her for reading text in a file, but not for menues.

Help Please!

(When is that update coming for us to be able again to get the BBC streams which the deletive expletives at BBC Sounds have been as good as their word in turning off just over an hour ago. Anyone heard anything?

Ray.

I am not 100% sure but I think that I saw that this was a limitation in the current Stream 3 which would be addressed in the Fall 1.2 update.
I am afraid you may have fallen to the perils of early adoption.

As a thought I used to be able to download alternative Firmware version from the Humanware site for my Stream and Trek which allowed access to alternative Voice versions.
You might want to check the Humanware support pages to see if these exist for the VR 3 yet.
It sounds like you would be better off with a Firmware which has Rachel as the primary voice and Graham as the secondary, that is the opposite of what you have.

Basically all you did in the past to was copy the Firmware install file to the root of the SD Card, reboot and the Humanware device would install the alternative Firmware.

Thanks David.? The revamped settings menues on the VR3 seem to indicate you can download other nationality English voicesso I might try that.

Seems to me Humanware must devote more resources to the VR3 and updating and debugging it otherwise it will cease to be taken seriously as a viable player for streaming and playing books.
