Uninstalling d-rats

 

How do I uninstall the program so I can try a new install.
I am getting an error details are
file "d-rats\mainapp-pyo" line 643,in __config_changed
file "d_rats\mainapp-pyo, line 511, in refresh_config
file "d_rats\mainapp.pyo", line 388 in_refresh_mail_threads
file "d_rats\mailsrv.pyo" line 52 in stop
attributeError:DRATS_POP3Server instance has no attribute 'shutdown'

How did you install it?? Are you just running it from a directory?? If so, you can just delete it.? If you installed it from a .deb, .rpm, etc, then just uninstall the package.

It looks as if you have issues with your mail settings. If you clear your mail settings, the errors may resolve themselves.
However, If you want to remove D-RATS manually, you must first "show hidden files" as the directory is hidden. Then search your computer for "d-rats.config". Deleting this one file will make D-RATS think it has just been installed, and you will have to input your information again.
