Hi Folks,

The subject HOWTO document has been updated adding a "Post Installation Notes" section. The first note adds instructions for allowing the default user on the Raspberry Pi to access the serial port.

I found out (the hard way) that the user "pi" on the Raspberry Pi does not have permission to use serial ports by default. Access to the serial port is required to use the Raspberry Pi with D-RATS and a D-STAR radio... or an analog radio with a TNC.

FYI: I know this is not the subject of this forum, but the Pi runs the CHIRP radio programming software just fine too, and it's also in the debian raspbian apt-get repository.
