Hi,
???? An older document said I needed to contact someone about my winlink id.? Could I get an explanation what is needed to make winlink work in my drats communications tools?? Thanking you in advance.

My county ARES group just did a net and sent traffic to Winlink. ?We did this using D-RATS version 0.3.9. ?The original 0.3.3 does not work with Winlink due to Winlink now requiring password.?

Here’s the instructions I sent them:

If you have not sent DRATS message (email) traffic to Winlink, there's some configuration setup work you will need to do beforehand. ??

Remember when sending via WL2K these important points:

1. Choose?New==>email? (only works for "email" selection)
2. Address to must begin with WL2K: then immediately followed by a call sign or email address. (e.g., WL2K:n7grb@...)
3. Post (send) to outbox, then select?Send/Receive==>WL2K

Configure and try a test email message to yourself!

Mark, going to ver 0.3.9 did the trick.? So fast, before I could go to Outbox it was sent!? Granted it was internet but it works.
