Gateway/Ratflector

I am really new to D-Star and D-Rats. I am setting up a new repeater for D-Star, but would really like to have the ability for users that do not have a D-Star radio to connect to a gateway or ratflector and talk to those using D-Rats via RF.

My main concern is that I don't want to Tie up a radio just to have a link to the internet for these users.

Is there a way to run a gateway or ratlfector software on the computer that is connected to the repeater itself to make this easier? I am using the G4KLX repeater and IRCDDB Gateway.

Regards,

You can run D-RATS on the same computer that hosts the gateway. Download
and install the D-RATS software and run the D-RATS repeater utility.
Mark the "Accecpt incoming connections" box and click the On button. I
believe the G4KLX software will let D-RATS connect to the low speed data
stream of the repeater radio. For more information, download "Running
your own Ratflector.pdf" from the files section of this group.
