That is why I set this one up, for our emcomm group to use. We have DSTAR 2M, 440, and 1.2 GHZ repeaters and?we?just wanted to have an online D-RATS to free up the frequencies. We will probably use it for our practice nets. And hey I am one of those old timers, but I take no offense at the moniker, if the shoe fits...

This may be stupid but in the repeater program is "accept incoming connections" checked as well?

Did you give the Raspberry a static IP address?

If not look up how to do so and get that done.

Oh yes, I have tried a number of different names on the other computers to no avail, but localhost has been up all along

OK.?

Under file-preferences-radio in the d-rats communications tool did you add a new port to link the "localhost" on your Raspberry Pi? Your raspberry is running the localhost and your computers need to be directed to find it.

For that particular issue, believe it or not, when you open the D-RATS repeater program, don't type anything into any of the fields, just make sure trust localhost is checked. Hit start.

That doesn't resolve any issues though when trying to get in through outside your network though.

This looks like a good?place for this question!

I now have my PI-RATS setup and running, however when I try to connect one of my other computers (in the same network)?to the ratflector I get a message: (unable to connect 10061 connection refused). I have tried changing my callsign in drats to no avail, is it because of them both being on the same router, they did talk to one another prior to getting the system working correctly, (while trying to figure out what I was doing wrong with the addressing they would talk in?D-RATS)
