I got his maps running again.? There are two issues that need to be changed on the Maps in Preferences.? On the base map setting, the URL as it appears on a new install is incorrect, at least in the US.? Change the ".de" at the end of the URL to ".org" and the base map will work again.
On the three URLs for the thunderforest maps you need to remove the "s" from the https: at the beginning of the URL.? That site is not using a secured server, so the added s causes the URL to fail.? HTTP:// is all that is needed there.? Once you correct these problems, and have the api key for the thunderforest maps, all will start working properly.

Can you supply screenshots of your main screen, and of settings? Would it help to use a screen sharing program? Does your data cable go directly from the radio to the computers USB port or going to an rs242 adapter to USB? What os you running?

I can't get my IC-9700 to transmit when connected to D-Rats. I have tried both comm ports listed for the radio. Works just fine with Winlink using the "A" comm port. I tried Windows and my PI. I see the files etc. However, I'm at a loss how to get them to run. The files that were on I had no problems seeing and running. However, I'm unable to connect to other Dstar Ratreflector.? This is beyond my skill level. MSYS2 script and info loaded but the deb file I couldn't get to run.?
I'm putting it on the back burner today as I have to be an Uber driver for the XYL.
I'm frustrated.

Hi Don. If I am not wrong, The wiki?should have a page with a step by step how to install the latest windows version (python3) with msys which I followed not many weeks ago to reinstall and I think it was quite straight forward.
The former python2 version of drats 0.3.9 is available as a zip from the GitHub and doesn¡¯t require an install, just decompress it in a folder of your choice.
Going forward there will be no updates from me on python2 version, but for time being it¡¯s still working and can dialogue with newer one.
Both versions are available as python code for Linux, you off course need to fulfill the dependencies, older un-updated systems will probably work easier with python2, newer with python3 (0.4.x).?
Once installed drats client, in every case of Linux or windows, you will need to configure it at minimum with?your call sign? and?to your preferred ratflector and ¡°optionally¡± to radio setup (in my case ic2820 via usb to serial with 2.5mm pin)
Ratflectors are usually configured with a public ip address and ?to respond on port 9000.
On GitHub?there is a list of known ratflectors, consider that there is no link between them, so you need to choose one where there is a bit of other users connected if you want to get some reply to chat.
In general you don¡¯t need to setup a ratflector, unless you want to provide this as a service to other users.

/g/d-rats/files/D-Rats/Debian/bullseyeI attempted to install and of course I'm missing some thing in the package installer. I can't find the log to find what missing. Between Windows and the PI, this has been a real pain the brain. Old links and links that don't work. I don't like being a pain. I couldn't get the window file etc working. I even tried that msys2 and that goes beyond my Window knowledge.???

This is the D-Rats 64 version 3.9 I pulled from the Dstarinfo website.
I added a couple reflector shown on the web and I get 10061 as shown by the Jpg.

It says that 10061 can not connect. To me, that is a port issue.?

I do have Hotspot (Zumspot) that my IC 705 is talking to. Would that be classified as a Dongle?
