Re: Crup D-Star Program

David:

I uninstalled the program using control panel. I then went in and manually removed
the d-rats directory tree.

I reinstalled the older version, 0.3.3 or whatever it is. Brought the program up, and it
retained all of my old settings, so that sort of proves that the settings are stored outside
of the d-rats directory. I know, others have said it's hidden and I'll continue looking for
it.

My directory still looks nothing like what you show below, strange.

I just found this yahoo group yesterday after looking all over the internet for a d-rats forum.
You have been most helpful.

Re: Crup D-Star Program

David:

I have been using 0.3.3 up until today, when I downloaded and installed daily 02172012.
I noticed as it installed, deleted a bunch of previous files and I assume replaced them with
new ones. My directory tree looks nothing like what you are showing. I have nothing important
to save, I'm thinking about just deleting the entire directory tree and re-installing.

The reason I went to the daily version, I've been having problems with loosing control of my 92ad,
that is, sometimes it would xmit, and most of the time it wouldn't. I also downloaded the latest version
of my usb-rs-232 adaptor.

I actually have three problems, but I want to solve one at a time. My other problem, won't connect
to the internet. I have a new MikroTik router, which has a complicated setup, and when I get it all
figured out, I'll have to deal with its firewall and port forwarding.

Search your computer for a file called d-rats.config. It is in a hidden directory.

Re: Crup D-Star Program

Hello All,

You may not remember the stage play and movie West Side Story, but in one scene
between the Police Officer [Crupke (sp)] and the Jets gang they tell him to 'Crup You' and
made a very rude, crass hand sign.

During a practice session, in mixed chorus, the singers completely carried out the
movement and the Music teacher turned 5 shades of RED!!! One rather embarrassed
young lady.

PS. We recorded the performance at Huntsville High; Huntsville AL in 1968 - I still
have my copy of the record as I was a member of the Mixed Chorus during that year as a
Senior.
