I have sent 2 e-mails to the USA site asking if they have any assembled radios with no response. I would really like one of these radios and thought shipping from US location?would result in a faster shipping time. Or should I just forget them and order from another location.

I also got no response from the US seller...Went instead to the designer and ordered direct...It was here in 2 weeks which I thought was very reasonable...I would order directly from CR Kits...

Hi John,
Is there an Excel spreadsheet with the components listed? There is for the D4D so I assume this will be the same: check the spreadsheet for the exact components for your model, and it will tell you how many turns to wind on the coils.

Hi Conor. I have the parts list and for the 20 meter parts portion it list L2 and L3 but only shows the wire length not the number of turns. In the actual manual for step 5 it shows 16 turns with a note it is for the 40 meter unit.

This is a little tricky to explain, so hopefully this makes sense.
First, twist the pair of wires together as per the instructions. You'll have a red wire and gold wire at either end of the twisted pair. After you wind the toroid, you will connect the gold wire on one end to the red wire on the other end. (Leave a short section untwisted at either end to facilitate this.)
So, go ahead and wind the coil. When you are finished, all of the loose ends should be fairly close together on the toroid. Take the red wire from the start of the twisted pair, and the gold wire from the end of it. Now, twist those two together.
You will be left with one red strand, one gold strand, and one strand of red and gold twisted together. These are the three legs of your completed toroid, ready to be soldered into the board.

In the actual manual for step 5 it shows 16 turns with a note it is for the 40 meter unit.
Hi John,
Is there an Excel spreadsheet with the components listed? There is for the D4D so I assume this will be the same: check the spreadsheet for the exact components for your model, and it will tell you how many turns to wind on the coils.

Good day sir. I have a question regarding L2 and L3. In the manual I downloaded it says ?"Wind toroids for L2 and L3 as following picture, it shows 16 turns for 40m". How many turns for
20 meters.

I have an over time and full time job, so the shipping will be every Monday. Your rig will be shipped next Monday via EMS, and after shipment, the tracking number will be updated in PayPal. ? Hi Adam. Just wondering if you have any idea when my rig will be shipped.?

I have sent 2 e-mails to the USA site asking if they have any assembled radios with no response. I would really like one of these radios and thought shipping from US location?would result in a faster shipping time. Or should I just forget them and order from another location.
